massage
Massage can have several benefits and can be used in both the prevention of injuries as well as the treatment of them. It can help to relieve the stresses and strains of everyday life from the office worker with tight shoulders to the builder constantly lifting and twisting.
injury assessment
With any injury getting a clinical impression and treatment early is essential for reducing the recovery time. However old injuries are just as treatable.
At YB injured we have an open approach to our injury assessment, we do not merely treat the injury but assess for the cause of the issue too. This is done during a comprehensive assessment looking at posture, alignment, flexibility, functional movements, as well as structural integrity. Every injury is different; therefore YB injured uses an individualised approach and will talk and listen to YOU about YOUR pain.
active rehabilitation
Once the nature of the injury has been established treatment and rehabilitation can be started. We have full access to the Fit Club Gym for exercise based rehabilitation. After a rehab plan has been written, it can then be performed in the gym under the supervision of Yasmin, meaning that she is on hand to support and encourage as well as ensure that technique and form are correct. Yasmin will be on hand to answer any questions or queries that you may have. From this the rehab plan is then yours to take away enabling you to perform it on your own or under guidance.
